About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To spread love, compassion and understanding in the world.

ABOUT ME

I am an optimistic, passionate, and open minded person who likes to adopt fresh perspectives. I strive to let myself be of best use for life in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed all over the US with my band and host when home in Austin. I even met one of my roommates through CS. I am constantly grateful, and raving about it. I love meeting all the people who are involved- it attracts some of my favorite people in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've made some really great friends CouchSurfing. The very first time I surfed I was playing a show in Pascagoula, MS. My host David came to the show with two of his best friends and another couch surfer named Chris. They all loved the show and afterwards we started hanging out just like we were old friends. We joking, laughing, talking about everything. There was never an empty pitcher, and we closed out the bar at 3:30.
Two of the guys in the three person band are named Ryan. We were telling David that we needed to find a nickname for one of them and he turned to Ryan S. and immediately said, "You're Hooch. Fing Hooch man, that's your name." We've called him Hooch ever since!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moments that leave me utterly awestruck are usually a result of either nature or a personal revelation that changes how I see myself and my place in the world. Yet I remain open to being amazed by all of existence.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach people about integral theory, and what I've learned about self-actualization, growing, becoming more peaceful, joyous, and happy.

I'd love to teach you how to meditate.

I'd love to teach you how to improvise on guitar or any instrument, and about music theory.
