About Me
CURRENT MISSION
relax and learn more about the world
ABOUT ME
I am studying nursing and psychology in Illinois right now, though I'm not sure I'm in the right place or doing the right thing. I enjoy running, swimimng, reading, making photo albums, and since recently, salsa dancing! I am always open to learn new things and meet new people. Strangers are just friends waiting to be met :) I may be shy at first, though I don't know that many people would agree.
PHILOSOPHY
You only get to go around one time, so you should enjoy it and learn as much as you can. Other people are the most important thing in the world to me, so they come before everything else. And I've just recently learned that I don't have to wait for other people to come along to be able to live my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch surfed for 24 days in Germany and had a lot of fun. I am willing to host couch surfers, but I live 20 minutes by train outside of Chicago, and it's kind of expensive to take the train back and forth so I doubt many people would be willing to do that. Also, I live with another girl, so I'd have to make sure it's ok with her first.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed for 24 days in Germany. I had a great time with everyone I stayed with. I think I had a much better experience than I would have staying at hostels because I actually got to see how German people do things since I stayed with some while travelling. I learned so much from the people I stayed with and am so grateful to all of them!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a chance, a risk, and want to Germany alone for 24 days. I took another chance and tried couch surfing... and I think I have met some of the best people in the world. Taking these chances, and all the others I took on the trip was new to me. I never took chances before. But I learned it's ok to take a chance and it usually works out for the best. :)
