Music, Movies, and Books

I have wide-ranging and diverse tastes in cinema, music, and literature. My favorite movies include everything from "Vanilla Sky" to "Oldboy" to "Annie Hall". Musically, I tend to gravitate toward lyrically strong singer-songwriters & classic rock. My favorite books include "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron, Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series, "The Great Gatsby", "The Time Traveller's Wife", and "Calvin and Hobbes".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Seeing Leonard Cohen perform in Los Angeles, 2009.
* The first time I drove into Chicago at night and saw the skyline.
* A great art exhibit in Poznan, Poland (March 2012).
* Exploring the countryside around Florence, Italy (2012).
