I believe that the most important part of life is the relationships one makes along the way. No matter what place or situation I'm in, its my family, friends, and sometimes random strangers who make it worthwhile. That's why I think couch-surfing is such a wonderful idea- it makes traveling as much about visiting people as it is about visiting places.

This isn't exactly a secret, but in California there is a law that public access to the beach/coast must be allowed. This means that if you come to my hometown of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, you can enjoy the beauty of Donald Trump's ocean-side 'Trump National Golf Course' along with adjacent walking trails, as you make your way down to the ocean.
