I'm a lab rat who loves moving: to the beach, the mountains, walking, close to home or to the other part of the world. The important thing is the backpack with me and the path to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Backpacking is one of my pasions, and I think that one of the main parts of this adventurous spirit is about meeting the local people in order to truly understand the cultural, social and political situation of every new place you are discovering. I hate travelling to a place and feel like a tourist that only arrives to see the surface of each place. Meeting the pleople is as important as knowing the places, and it converts travelling in a more grateful experience.

Viajar como mochilero es una de mis pasiones, y pienso que una de las partes más importantes de este espíritu aventurero es conocer a gente local para poder entender verdaderamente la situación política, cultural y social de cada nuevo lugar que se descubre. Odio viajar a un lugar y sentirme como un turista que solo llega a ver la fachada de cada lugar y no puede llegar más lejos. Conocer a las personas es tan importante como conocer los lugares y hacen de esto una experiencia mucho más gratificante.

Interests

I love nature and I try to enjoy the most of it whenever I can. Biking to the beach or hiking in the mountains always seems to me like a good plan. Right know I'm bouldering a lot and it has become one of my first hobbies! Climbing is always a fun challenge! When the body doesn't work anymore I love watching movies laying on my sofa with a big bowl of popcorn and someone to coment it with. Or reading a book is also a good option.
I also love beeing always learning something new, doesn't matter if it is about science, politics, culture, people...
And, of course, a good party at a festival or in a rave is something that never disappoints.

Me encanta la naturaleza e intento aprovechar siempre que puedo para escaparme a ella. Coger la bici para ir a la playa o una ruta por la montaña siempre me parecen un buen plan. Cuando el cuerpo ya no da más de sí me encanta ver una película tumbado en el sofá con un buen bol de palomitas y alguien con quien comentarla. O leer un buen libro también es una opción.
También me encanta estar siempre aprendiendo algo nuevo, ya sea sobre ciencia, política, cultura, gente...
Y como no, una buena fiesta, sea en un festival o en una rave es algo que nunca falla.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I like depends a lot in my mood, but what I like the most is enyoying it with friends in concerts or festivals, being reggae, tekno, indie, rock...
I love reading, and I remark latin american writters as Eduardo Galeano and Julio Cortázar, but I also read a lot of politics and history.
I declare myself also as a cinephile (but don't in a bad way, I swear I'm super chill about it) , one of those of marathon of Star Wars ever when I can or the clasics when I'm in the mood.

La música que escucho depende mucho de como me siento, pero lo que mayormente me gusta es disfrutarla con amigos en conciertos o festivales, ya sea reggae, tekno, indie, rock...
Me encanta leer, y destacaría en ello a escritores latinoamericanos como Eduardo Galeano o Julio Cortázar, si bien también leo mucho de política.
También soy un cinéfilo, de esos de maratón de Star Wars siempre que puedo o de clásicos cuando me rota.

I love cooking (although I am not the best chef), and I like mainly cooking with friends. I remark the preparation of an authentic valencian paella!
Since I'm always in the mood of learning I think that the most important part of couchsurfing is learning the experiences and life stories of each person.

Me encantar cocinar (aunque no sea el mejor chef), y me gusta sobretodo hacerlo con gente. Destaco ahí la preparación de una auténtica paella valenciana! Como siempre tengo ganas de aprender creo que lo más importante de couchsurfing es conocer las experiencias y vivencias de cada persona
