About Me

'do what you love and not what you want'

I am a crazy random guy from Barcelona who loves hiking and photography and thinks that the meaning of life is friendship, love and travelling. I studied Computer Science but love to forget about my phone and just jump on the streets to meet new people face to face. My dream is to work as a nomadic freelance Software Engineer just travelling with a van through the whole world, from the coldest glacial to the warmest desert and gather all kind of different experiences. Edit: I got the camper van and have been refurbishing it for some time now! I also worked on the road :)

I am a regular meditator and a yoga practitioner. I became a 300h Qualified Yoga Teacher in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Rocket and Yin at the end of 2017 during my trip to India and Thailand. I have also attended an advanced Kundalini Lvl 2 Mind and Meditation with the great Gurmukh and Gurushabd <3. Self-discovery and introspection have become a great part in my current time.

My philosophy of life is not to plan anything. I love random encounters and not knowing what's going to happen any-time. I know this may get me in some troubles but this spontaneous moments often turn out to be the most essential part of my life. I also think that everything that happens is for a reason and so you always get that what you have given.

I am a very easy-going and open-minded person, who doesn't care where are you from or who are you if you feel okay just to hang out and try to get to know someone. I sometimes love the loneliness of hiking high mountains and getting exhausted driving your body to the limits but I also enjoy going to music festivals and getting really wasted with friends.
I love being on the go so that's why I always try to make different things anytime I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is that moment when you meet such wonderful people in Couchsurfing that become amazing friends, then you know it was never about free accommodation. There is nothing like easy-going people sharing knowledge, different insights and experiences.

Interests

I'm open to anything that is new because we never learn enough! When I was travelling in Norway, a Couchsurfer took my friend and me to a Yoga lesson and since then I got hooked! I always learn something about people I cross paths with!

My great passions are hiking mountains, climbing and getting lost into the woods. Getting out or the comfort zone for sure! I suppose travelling around the whole world goes implicitly haha!

To learn new vegetarian dishes because if not I will always end up eating the same stuff!

I also like science, philosophy, art, filming, and photography. I always travel with a Polaroid or an old film camera so then I get all printed and hanged around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Practicing dream recall and lucid dreaming <3
I've hiked the highest mountains (+3000m) of Catalonia and Spain.
I've finished the Carros de Foc trail (80km, +9000m net altitude) in 48h.
A few years ago I had some pictures published in an Italian Magazine.
I travelled through Europe for a month with the InterRail, the best!
When I was 19 I went to Morocco in summer for an NGO and taught Spanish to local people.
I've lived on a canal boat in London for a whole year hosting more than 60 people! One of the best times in my entire life.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are some few things I am passionate about, and I would love to share them with you. Some of those include:

I could give you tips about photography.
I would love to teach you yoga or meditation,
I can help you decipher your nighttime dreams.
I can also talk about the universe and spirituality.
And last but not least! How to survive a thunderstorm in the mountains!
