Overview
About Me
I am a curious and adventurous man, that likes every day challenges and different situations, escaping from routine.
After spending the first 20 years of my live studying and being at home I decided it was time for a change, and I started travelling around the world, but only as holidays. After finishing my degree in Social Work, and because of the economical situation in Spain and my own personal, I decided to leave and go to the UK. There I worked as lots of different things, and met lots of new people.
After 2 years there, I decided again that routine was boring and started a trip to Asia with only a one way ticket, and no rush to come back home.
I have experience working with vulnerable people and especially children, and I like technology, reading and listening to music.
I love sport as well, having played football and basketball for a while, and I am also as well a martial arts enthusiast, mainly muay thai and bjj. Hiking is as well one of my favourite things to do, usually around mountains or valleys.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling around the world, meeting new people and having different experiences every day it's what makes a trip and life enjoyable. And couchsurfing is a good way to so it, while you blend with locals and learn different cultures.
Interests
I like music, books, cinema, martial arts, technology (phones and computers), travelling and learning about the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music, since Rock to reggae or classical, but prefer Hard Rock, heavy metal and ska. Music is my passion, but never learned it properly.
Love reading, but haven't been doing so recently. All kind of books, but in love with fantasy and science fiction.
When it comes to movies, I love them! Bring action Van Damme style, thrillers, dramas, scifi, anything as long as it is good and keeps me entertained.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving into a cave in rough sea, in an island after 1 hour on a boat, swimming in darnkess for 80 meters and getting to an inland mini beach / forest, only reachable through de cave and when it is low tide. Emerald cave, Koh Mook, Thailand.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer english or spanish conversation about lots of different things: music, politics, art, food, etc. Also I can share my life experiences, including all my travels and my 2 years living in UK. And of course, I'm up to visiting and learning everything about where and who I'm staying with.
