Overview
About Me
I'm an introvert (but outgoing and engaging with people I've known forever, with those I like and those I meet through this website), open- and silly-minded, happy and sad coffee-addict. Somebody told me again, recently, that I have an old soul. It's true. In my mind I've been around since The Beatles still played at The Star Club, probably even before that.
Life's all about music, books, arts, sunshine, sleeping in, family and friends, witchcraft, rain, cosmic coincidences, good food, tea and coffee, people watching and story telling - and then there's traveling of course.
When asked to describe myself even further, I'd say I'm a quiet, friendly, black-humored person, a vegetarian, a cat person who likes most dogs, an observer and listener, a dreamer and a tidy guest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Each time I have surfed so far it turned out to be a great experience to meet and stay with locals, sharing parts of our lives and enjoying each others trust to be a reliable and open-minded host/guest. Couchsurfing and wwoofing my way from NYC to Denver recently restored my faith in humanity. I'm looking forward to a lot more encounters like that all around the planet!
I can't host at the moment but look forward to that aswell.

Teach, Learn, Share
Always love to share good food and on the lookout for new vegetarian recipies. Would quite like to learn tap dance and blues harp.
Languages always interest me, so please teach me words and phrases!
Of course I'm ready to torment you with the German language (if that's what you're after).
I'd also be happy to do some painting or drawing, or teach you some basic bookbinding skills. Can also offer advice on your grandma's old books in case they're coming apart; I'm studying to be a restorer/conservator (of paper objects specifically).
Always love to visit the local museums.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all I'd love to get to know you, exchange travel stories and life stories in general over a coffee or beer.
Also I can cook vegetarian.
And I can offer teaching you some useful German phrases or tongue twisters.
