ABOUT ME

Born in Wellington but grew up in Hamilton so a Waikato boy really. Lived in Auckland for a year after Uni then moved back to Hamilton (was not to sure how that happened I thought I had escaped). After 2 more years in Hmailton moved to London. During this time also completed a heap of travel through:

South East Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodi, Malaysia, Singapore)
India (and all countries in between there and London) drove back on a Royal Enfield
Eygpt, Jordan UAE, Srilanka
West Europ down to Morroco etc.
After living on and off in London for this time I moved back to Wellington New Zealand, bought a house and got a job.
5 years later I got restless again and resigned and headed for South America. Spent 10 months on Road travelling from Argentina to Guatemala leaning Spanish and loving Latin America.

Got home and after 2 years back decided I needed to do it all over.
This time I started in Mexico City travelled Mexico, Cuba and Belize before spending more time in Guatemala. This involved some volunteer work building a house and just enjoying the country.
After this I bought a small trail bike and headed across central America to Colombia and Venezuala before entering brazil.
I am headig towards Chile where I will sell the bike.

PHILOSOPHY

Make a path but always be prepared to change it, extend it, or bring extra people with you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare room at my place that oftern has travellers from all over the world in it. I always offer my place to firends and fellow travellers to stay if they ever make it to New Zealand. This would be a wider extension of that. Love meating new people and showing off my country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent a lot of time dossing in London so far so had a few quaility couches and floors in my time and good times with my hosts. Looking forward to some more.
