Hi there,

My name is Jordy. I'm 24 years old and are born and raised in Rotterdam! I live with 3 roommates whom also happened to be my best friends in a nice apartment about 10 minutes by bicycle from the city centre.

On the one hand I am very sportive. I like to swim, ran the Rotterdam marathon last year and am always up for exploring new sports. In the weekend however, I like to go for a drink (or two:)) with my friends, or visit one of the many awesome music festivals the Netherlands has to offer.

When I am not in Rotterdam, I am somewhere around the globe exploring new places and getting to know new people and cultures, because in the end, there is nothing I love doing more than that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because on the one hand I would love to help people visiting Rotterdam to explore all the awesomeness the city has to offer. On the other hand I will be traveling through Australia from the end of October onwards and I am hoping to meet new people and find places to crash via Couch Surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mainly techno, but always up for exploring new music styles.

Movies: Not so much, prefer to watch tv-series on Netflix on Sunday-hangover-mornings. Favorite movie would be 'Mister Nobody'.

Books: "The best stories are written between the pages of a passport".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered at a Cheetah rehabilitation centre in South Africa, where I got to work, live, play, and hunt with Cheetahs.
