About Me
Aloha! Jordyn Mikesell here ~ a traveler from the west side of America~ I will be traveling around the world as many places as I can see as long as life allows it~ ~I do not have any plans as true travel is more of the journey than the destination.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love couch-surfing! One thing is good- it is free but that is not really the important part. Two things that is good- you stay with local people and learn local secrets. Another thing I love- for traveling a long time hostels and hotels become restricting and lonely- impersonal really. When couch-surfing you are in someone's home, seeing different styles of living and having immediate friends. To me it is amazing how much people go out of their way to make a stranger feel as comfortable as possible. I enjoy being immersed in culture, meeting other travelers and learners, giving back through good conversation over a home cooked meal!
