My name is Jordyn. I'm a writer. That's the biggest thing you need to know about me. I write fiction, nonfiction, poetry, short stories, essays, blog posts, tweets, and anything else that requires creating words from a blinking cursor. I'm also in the process of writing a novel, which is both terrifying and exhilerating.

When I'm not writing I'm probably doing one of three things: reading, watching TV or movies, or taking and editing photos. I do other things too, of course, but those are the top three. I'm also usually listening to music while doing everything but watching TV. That would just be silly.

There are also a few other things you should know about me. I love grammar. Grammar is my soulmate. I am a huge proponent of the Oxford comma. I like creamy peanut butter, not crunchy. I am a Jew with a strong love of Judaism and Israel. I smoke cigars and drink whiskey, because I am actually an old man. I love to travel, and I will try anything once.

Hotels are expensive. You also don't get to meet locals. I'm on Couchsurfing because being able to see a new place from a local's perspective is, in my opinion, the best way to travel. Also, who doesn't love making new friends?
