About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do more with my weekends.

ABOUT ME

I am a farm girl that lives in the city. I've got the charm of a country girl, and the wit and know of a city girl.

PHILOSOPHY

"I'm not running away from my responsibilities. I'm running to them. There's nothing negative about running away to save my life." Catch-22

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have always opened my home to friends and friends of friends and, recently, strangers..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoy hosting when I have the time available!

Interests

I listen to a lot of music, go to shows, and spend a lot of time in the sun. Oklahoma City has an art walk or community block party in different districts almost every weekend. Our district and music festivals are really rich. I like going to local theatre shows, outdoor concerts, and I like staying home too. I recently decided to love hiking, state parks, and adventure--so I try to use my weekends for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: http://open.spotify.com/user/joreese/playlist/5eM5eOOhwpPJmBFyIVwPBG
Favorite movie: An Education, Frances Ha, Annie Hall
Favorite book: Jane Eyre
Favorite writer: Madeleine L'Engle

I like too much TV to list the shows, it would be an embarrassment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've only been in San Fran for a couple hours in the middle of the night. So although I didn't see much, I saw what I think was most important. I got to watch the moon rise over San Francisco from the far side of the bridge, and it was really special.

My family's 4th of July always leaves me spellbound. We are a really fun family, and we are extremely blessed that we have never had any serious injuries.
