ABOUT ME

I live in New Orleans (come visit me there!). I have been a middle school science teacher for 4 years. Im learning Spanish to better serve my students! I love food, travel, good conversation, and nature! Wherever I go I find hikes and spend lots of time observing the plants and animals. I usually travel with my boyfriend of 11 years but this time I'm alone so Couchsurfing is much more attractive than getting a hotel so I am not alone all the time.

I host travelers regularly and love how quickly someone can go from a complete stranger to a fast friend over just one amazing meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this couch surfing community. I have, however, had great couch surfing experiences in Denmark, Canada, Turkey, and Switzerland, Hungary, and France! I'm sure this will be a great resource, and a way to make lots of great friends.

Interests

I love long distance wilderness travel, Cultural exploration, long nights on the town, and music. Cooking and eating amazing food is mostly why I get up in the morning. There are few things better than having beach fires until the wee hours of the morning with great friends.
