I am a Colombian who loves to travel and experience different countries and cultures. As for my profession, I am a Business Strategy and International Business professor at the Business School of the University of the Andes in Colombia. I am also a consultant in the same fields.

I have been to different countries among which there are: South Africa, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Scotland, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Viet Nam.

I love most foods, though I am not very adventurous. My choice of movies would gravitate towards drama, action or comedy. I love music, going to the gym and travelling. I also enjoy a lot lecturing at the university, though I can be a bit demanding with my students.

As for what I am like as a guest, well, I believe I am a friendly and respectful person who loves to learn about the culture of different people in the world and share with them mine. I am extremely organized, so wherever I stay I try to keep the place tidy and clean. Being a Colombian, I love to talk.

And I guess that’s pretty much who I am.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

The main reason I am in CS is because it lets you into the lives of locals so you can learn about their culture, history and how they live. Sharing with people around the world is so much more interesting than merely being a tourist. CS so far has been such a great and enriching experience.

Difficult one. As for music, I love rock, alternative and grunge. As foor movies, I would say that my favorite movies have been American Beauty, Lost in translation, The Matrix part one and Inception.
