Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i have been always involved in cooperation movements and NGO with children, old people, disabled or discapacities,...to share my health and training knowledges to improve their lifes

at the end, i learned more from them because they contagiated their entushiasm for life to me.

CS is a great platform to meet people around the world and to promote a sostenible tourism living with local conditions; sharing culture, food, language, way of live, ...

for me this experience, that i already did with my NGO colaborations, is the essence of a traveller and the basic diference with a tourist, who will spend all the trip in luxury hotels and planificated tour-groups without meeting any local people.

make holiday or a trip without involving myself in the local comunity is losing the greatest experience you could ever feel!!!

of course i would also love to host people from all around the world and share with them my culture, knowledge, ... and CS is the best opportunity to do that!!

Interests

I love all kind of sport activity: i played soccer, rugby, skiing and snowboarding

i am a hiking and adventure sports fan of rafting, climbing,...

i colaborate with diferent NGOs in Spain, Africa and Asia related with children and ill people to improve their skills and physical activity

i enjoy meeting my friends, cook a delicious paella or other typical food for them, have some drinks and long conversations...i also like to play with their children

i love learning new languages and every year i try to learn a new one from all the countries around the world...i always try to visit this country to improve my skills and meet new friends from there

finally, i enjoy a lot travelling all around Europe visiting old friends and now i will start visiting new countries all around the world!!

Music, Movies, and Books

With music, im not a really expert...i like all kind of music depending of my emotional feelings...sometime a bit techno-house, others romantic, others latin-spanish, jazz, classic music, opera and i also love SILENCE or listen the nature music in an empty forest or at the top of a lonely mountain...for every moment i have a diferent style

About cinema, last time i was there watching a movie was 7-8 years ago...i have to be honest and i prefer to spend my time "filming" my life movie everyday

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a small house a bit outside of the city with my nice cat...is NOT the best place if you want to have party, get drunk and visit the main tourist atractions of Barcelona...also is NOT near the airport or for one night travellers in the way to or from there...of course is NOT your couch if you are allergic to cats.

is your place if you want to feel the local atmosphere in the countryside with no polution, no stress, no noise and far from the tourist crowds

the public transportation access is dificult but i have car... i can show you around the best mountain and coast landscapes because they are at 30-40 mins drive.
