Overview
About Me
I used to travel a lot due to my previous work, as a physics researcher. I did my PhD at La Sapienza University, in Rome, which is a city that I love. Nowadays I live in Amsterdam and work as a data scientist. I enjoy travelling, meeting people and exploring different cultures. Other places where I lived in are Raleigh, Paris, Heidelberg, Osnabruck and São Paulo.
Interests
Travelling and meeting new people from different cultures is something that I like.
Learning new languages and about other cultures are things that I appreciate as well. I speak Portuguese, English and Italian. Since Spanish is quite similar, I understand and can communicate reasonably in this language. My goal for the next months is to improve my Spanish and learn Dutch. In the future I want to learn French and German as well.
I really like sports in general and I was always active since I was a child. Football, wakeboard, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and judo are among the sports that I have practiced.
I like partner dances as well, like Forró and Salsa, and I'm looking forward to learn some other dances.
I really like science and politics, and talking about those subjects at layman level can be fun when with some beers.
Going out with friends, making/listening music, cooking and many other social activities are also within my interests.
