About Me

Hello there!

My name is Jorge,
I come from a small border town in Arizona with a huge appetite for traveling and experiencing life. I spend most of my down time playing music, or hanging out with friends. I graduated from The University of Arizona in 2017. Since then, I've spent my time working and traveling. The truth is, I work to be able to travel.
Fun fact:
I quit my stable job in April to backpack Italy! I've never backpacked before and quite frankly it scares me a bit, but It is something I've always wanted to do and hey, I'm doing it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer, I helped evacuated 200+ children from a summer camp in the middle of the night due to a forest fire almost reaching our camp site. Imagine breathing with a handkerchief over your face, children being scarred, seeing the flames in the distance, the black sky turn hazy orange. Among chaos, we flawlessly choreographed escaping the camp site. Possibly the most scary feeling yet, the most exciting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
-English
-Spanish
-Guitar
-Ukulele

I am always open to learn something new.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am open minded, always down to have deep or philosophical conversations. I can share stories of the places I've been or where I'm from. Perhaps cook or prepare some cocktales? I'm always down for a silly goose time.
