Hey, my name is Jorge, I was born in Puebla, Mexico, and I'd been living there almost all my life. I love my country and city, so if you haven't been there, you should do.

Despite my degree is Finance, I have a lot of interests completely different to this. I love art, specially the literature, in fact I am a writer, well I am trying to be.
I enjoy music, my favorite genres are: rock, folk, reggae, fusion, cumbia, jazz etc etc etc. So I like to go to concerts and festivals.
Another of my passions are to think, ask and answer. I really love interesting conversations, about everything, if I do not know, I just stay quiet and hearing.
Finally, as many of you I love travel, if I can I will go to every country. What I most like about traveling is that I have another vision, everything is new and different.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I lived in Spain, and had the opportunity of travel around Europe, I learnt that the best way to know a place is through the people that live there.
Also I know that feeling alone in some place is terrible, so I wanna help to the people that visit the place where I live.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do not have any special favorite music, I just enjoy it. I see music like a perfect complement to every situation or memory. Now what I hear most is Alabama Shakes, Joaquin Sabina, Interpol, Radiohead, Gorilaz and Cafe Tacuba.

About books, that is a difficult one, I just can say that my favorite genre is short stories. And the style that I most love is realismo mágico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the vest things I have ever done was a few years ago, in my hometown I create a cultural group with another friends, we were dedicated to promote culture, from literature to music. We were called "Colectivo Semilla".

I think that one of the great virtues is the LIGHTNESS. When you are almost free of sad memories, bad moments and painful thoughts, you can advance faster.
