Overview
About Me
I'm a spanish aerospace engineer, judoka and musician (exactly in that order). I love to meet new people and spend hours talking about whatever, learning new languages and cultures. I have a strong commitment with ecology and Earth-friendly practises. One of my biggest dreams is to travel through adventure, being in touch with nature, animals, hiking, riding, diving, flying... Whatever it comes, I'm in!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After several years of travelling I realized I felt empty every time I came back home from another country. You can visit and see many beautiful things as a tourist, but the way people live it is impossible to feel it in that way.
I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to travel and know places from within. I want to meet people and share experiences, spend hours talking and to go on any kind of adventure (from a short walk on the city to a big one in the wild). I want to came back home and realize how many new friends I made during my journey and be able to keep in touch with them.
I'm a really adventurous person, I lived in the countryside since I was born so I have always been in contact with nature. There is where I feel comfortable and I really would love to travel though adventure.
Interests
I use to develop my own crazy, futuristic, philosphic and even metaphysic theories about life, space and time in general. I really love to discuss about them and let the imagination to flow free with no constraints before coming back to the rational and empirical mind of a scientist.
I'm a science and technology passionate (or freak). I work as Aerospace Engineer, but at the same time this is my main hobby. I love astronomy and space related sciences, I could spend a whole night looking at the sky (even if cloudy).
I love sport, I practise judo as the main one and I really like to spend time in nature.
I have been a musician since I was a child, I play guitar and bass and it would be great to meet new musicians and have some plays!

Music, Movies, and Books
I was a pure metalhead a few years ago, but time passes and my music interests also has changed and my hair is shorter. I still love rock and metal music, but I have a wider range of music tastes, such as soundtracks and orchestrations.
My favourite books are the ones of The Kingkiller Chronicle triology, having read The Name of the Wind, A Wise Man's Fear and waiting for The Doors of Stone.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a researcher on future asteroid missions at the European Space Agency.
Sharing an apartment in the Netherlands with a crazy French guy.
I spent a weekend in a camping near Girona (Spain) in order to have some mountain bike routes in the area. I was a nice and easy ride, surrounded by sunflower fields and an amazing weather until I realized I got lost and it was too late to turn around. I ran out of water in mid July and I had to cross two mountains to reach somewhere populated. Most of the time I carried the bike and I had to go down the mountainside through the brambles to get water from the river. And we could talk about the end of the story while having a drink.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really love to talk to people and share experiences, to listen about other cultures and how other people live. I would love to teach Spanish and share some knowledge about whatever it comes up.
I'm really up to language exchanges, I would love to learn every launguage in the world, so whatever it comes it will be really welcome!
