About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Knowing different people, different cultures, for a better understanding of the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious guy. Curious about new places, new cultures, different and interesting people. I like to hang out with my friends, drink some beer, share my experiences and know about my guest's/friend's experience
I work as a system analyst ( but I'm definitely not the kind of nerd guy). I was born in the country side of Minas Gerais state, when I was 15, I came to Belo Horizonte to study. And from BH I begun to discover a little bit of this crazy world. I try to be always in good mood, I believe the more we smile to the life, more beautiful and easy the life will be to us.
Also as most Brazilians I love football, and I support Cruzeiro, one of the biggest clubs in Brazil.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I'm really not the type of philosophic guy. My philosophy it's the beer philosophy (hahaha). But I think that everyone of us have to do our part, every day, to become the world a better place to live.
We should complain a little bit less and act more, doing to the others exactly what we expect the others doing to us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I became a great CS Project fan. It's a pleasure to offer my couch for someone who need it, drink some beers with and talk a little bit. I've already host some people and have one amazing experience as a guest in Curitiba/Brazil. In addition I'm always trying to be active at the Belo Horizonte CS Community, going to the meetings, trying to help the travellers, etc...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted several people, always good experiences, among them:

Timothé and Juliette (France)
Alison Clark (England) and Elsa Martineau (France)
David Vlerick(Belgium)
Paula Goedert(Curitiba-Brazil)
Adeline O'Brien (France) and Floraine Carlot(France)
Kely Omine(São Paulo-Brazil)
Deval Richards(California-USA)
Gabriela Cinal (Poland) and Joanna Cross (Australia)

Interests

Sports(snowboarding, football, squash, trekking) travelling, languages (English, French, Spanish), diferent cultures. Right now I'm trying to learn how to dance forró(Brazilian dance). Also I'm learning french and spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen U2, Cold Play, some 70's rock bands. I like too Brazilian music and others Latin rhythms (salsa, etc..).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to 2006 World Cup in Germany. It was my first time in Europe, and as a great football fan, it was a amazing experience to me. And I love the hospitality of the German people. Thank you my German friends for the good time I had in your country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always willing to learn new things. About teaching, I could teach you a little bit of Portuguese. And I can try to teach you the basic of forró, if you like dancing.
