About Me
Grew up in the coast of València ️
Lived in London and Berlin for a few years before coming back to Spain. Always the same struggle, should I stay or should I go?
People have defined me as a warm and patient person, with a smile always trying to show up Travelling is a wonderful way to explore my endless curiosity and learn from people and places, while putting my (social) introversion to test In the meantime, I like to share big and small moments with people I encounter on my way.
If I had to pick three things I liked the most, I guess I would say reading, travel and learning about politics. And the good thing is that they can be combined!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe couchsurfing is a wonderful way to connect with people and places in a deeper way than allowed by other types of travel.
I love meeting people over shared interests, but I also like to be able to meet people from different walks of life both while travelling and while being back home. I feel that being exposed to different perspectives is a great way to keep ourselves empathic in these sometimes disheartening times.
I'm barely starting over with couchsurfing (participated in some events and was hosted a couple of times), and would love to host once I have a more permanent place, to contribute back to the community. 🙂
Interests
While I'm a physicist by training, I always liked learning from many different subjects, and lately am more and more interested in politics and social sciences, arts and humanities.
- culture
- reading
- music
- hiking
- political science
Music, Movies, and Books
Impossible to choose one, so I will just mention a few I like
Books: Los detectives salvajes (Roberto Bolaño), Las venas abiertas de Latinoamérica (Eduardo Galeano), Tomorrow sex will be good again (Katherine Angel)
Music: music from whichever place I'm visiting
Cinema: Night on Earth (Jim Jarmusch)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Starting over in different places while keeping old friendships and connections!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: can teach you some Spanish or Catalan, or even data science / programming skills in the unlikely event you're interested in that
Learn: happy to learn whatever you can teach me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not an amazing cook, but would be happy to prepare something for you if you feel like it!
But mainly I offer chilled company and deep, respectful and varied conversations over beer / wine / rakia / coffee / whatever you like drinking
Up for both agitated plans involving live (or any kind of music) but also more chilled ones. Happy to be a clumsy dance partner too!
Countries I’ve Visited
