About Me
CURRENT MISSION
wie het kleine niet eert, is het grote niet weert (my grandmother used to say this in Dutch dialect :) ; 'He whom does not honour the small, isn't worth the great')
ABOUT ME
I love to travel. Not for the real tourist attractions; to meet people from various cultures and backgrounds & to try and do (nearly) all the things in life i never did before.. But most of all; i just love to laugh. [my name seems to confuse non-dutch people sometimes, especially the few times when they expected me to be a boy.. If you are wondering how to pronounce it -> apparently, in English it sounds similiar to 'Eureka!!' ;]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the first place joining CS-ers and CS-events in Sydney now, lovely way of getting to know a lot of interesting people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During my travels in the last few years i stayed at lots of different places and -i am very fortunate&thankful for that- spend time with all kinds of generous/interesting/great people. At that time i didnt know CS yet. You can say same concept, but without the internet-link.
In the future i am sure i will have a lot more couchsurf-experiences, either surfing or hosting!

After wrapping up my study recently, i managed to get my PADI sorted and I gained as well some little sail experience :).
Update 2013:
My next exciting adventure will be to sail accross the mighty Pacific in a race from China to San Fransisco (5,600mi)in March next year :D.
