About Me

Hi! I'm a french young boy, just finished highschool and worked for few years, living in my van that i converted myself ( well, i just put a mattress, a water can and screwed flower pots to make storage ), and, i DON'T want to travel... what did you expect? ;)

I can't host people back sadly, i would like, or if i find a trailer maybe ( oh that would be an idea, driving couchsurfers on a pimp caravan x) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a open-minded person, i want to meet people blablablaaa... everyone knows this part :) And in fact, it's the basic (I don't think we can find a Neo-Nazi or a misanthrope on CS... no?).
The main reason : I want to meet people that are different than me, that know something that i don't and that lived experiences that i don't even know it's possible (which is super easy, because we all different, duh), because the most important thing in traveling for me, it's my will to learn. But that can be small thing, like a cooking recipe or a story, no need to write me your entire biography :) (and sadly because we don't meet for a long time so, we're not going to know each other well). And most important, it's an exchange, so I can do that too, that's why we here.

I also used it when i worked for an association, that's called Travel With A Mission. It's about responsible traveling, and how you can help people or share with them during a trip, there is a website that look like couchsurfing and that are free, volonteering mission, etc... take a look if you want (travelwithamission.org). And for 6 weeks, we were traveling all around the country, to organised meetings (in bars and pubs, yeaaaaah!! Hard worker you know) with people that are interested or just curious, and we talked about us and people were sharing their experiences and tips. Aaaand every night, we used CS to slept and meet ; and that makes the trip two times better :D (and also more places to do our promotion, MOUHAAHAHA!! *evil character's laugh*)

Interests

I eat a lot, sorry hosties '^^ i think it's something you should be warn of, i mean because many people were suprised about it. I mean i'm not telling you that so that you should cook more (but if you want i won't stop you)... but i mean i want to be polite so i just warn you '''''''^^
But i'm very good at cleaning the dishes x)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Swiss Army Man (<3), Matrix, Cloud Atlas (i love the Wachowkis), Lord of the Rings, the Dead Poets Society, Green Book, Spider-man : into the spider-verse
Series : Sense8, Love Deaths + Robots, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, Sherlock
Books : Le monde en stop, La survie douce en pleine nature... yep i don't read much x)
I have 3 albums that i know by heart and that i can listen anytime : X by Ed Sheeran, Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold, and "Orelsan et Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters" wich is a french rap album.

I also have to say that i have one favorite video game, Skyim : even if i finished it a hundred time, i always want to play it again and again. It works in cycle you know : i play for weeks and month, then i say "i'm done playing, i'm wasting my time! I know it already!", i stop, and few month later... I look at it, and i say "oh come here my dude". The story of my life x)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first music festival (Cabaret Vert, Charlevilles-Mézières, France), in 2017, was a really strong and emotional experience, mostly because of the people. The easy relationship, the chill mood, the MOSH PIIIIIIIIIIIIT! (cliché, but true though :D), and i enjoyed it as i was sober 95% of the time, and that's important enough to notice! (the 5% left was... well... interesting xD)

I saw a seal once! On a beach in the west of France, i could only see his head above the water. I was so hypnotise by it that i forgot the ocean went up. I ended up with my shoes wet, as well as my pants, my wallet and my phone... thank you seal, no hard feelings :3

I worked in Nice recently for 7 month (from november 2018 to april 2019, in the south of France), where i lived in my car by the way (a big mattress, a gaz burner, few posters, super cosy ;D). One time, in march 2019, the president of China, Xi Jinping, came to Nice for a state visit, and, lucky me, he went by the exact same road where my car is park. But when a president need to take the road, he TAKES it, that's means every cars around need to move, or they will be towed. The only problem was... I was 600 km away from my car, and my keys too. So with the help of good people, my insurance and a tow truck (and after a looooong day of stress), it only cost me 50 euros to move it, instead of 300 if my car was taken by the police... thank you M. Xi, you will always be in my heart :3
