Overview
About Me
I'm an open-minded guy who enjoys travelling and meeting new people. I practice sports regularly (cycling and gym). Love walking, discovering a new city or nature, karaoke and (amateur level) singing, going to the beach. A bit more introverted, but still very open to other people. It just means that at some points I will need my own personal space. The wonders of introverts I guess :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and to have a good time together!
I hosted a few people when I lived in Moldova for a voluntary project and when I lived in Brussels. I moved to Mechelen recently: it's a very beauticul city close to Brussels (20min by train) and Antwerpen (15min by train). Do let me know that you read my profile by telling me the word 'Mechelen'.
Interests
Love reading about philosophy and history.
Taking singing lessons (but still at amateur level).
Sports.
Music, Movies, and Books
All books of Alain de Botton
The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle
Books about history and Middle Ages (especially Belgian history, and of Mechelen)
Philosophy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One year of voluntary work in Moldova! It was the best experience, travelling a lot and getting to know people from all over the world, learning Russian (unfortunately no Moldovan) and the local culture.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life philosophies, friendliness, learning about each other.
I'd like to practice and improve Russian language (I started learning it during my voluntary work in Moldova).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes :))
Cooking together, advice on what to visit in Belgium, showing you around in Mechelen, meeting my friends (depending on availabilities).
Countries I’ve Lived In
Moldova
