About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling to Asia via Trans-Siberian railway!!

ABOUT ME

I've been travelling and working on the road for some while now, mostly through Europe and Asia. Have been working and living in Portugal for 2 years but my home country is Belgium.
I Love to go out and enjoy nature, especially on bike tours. I almost always shared houses and exchanged cultures and languages, which I loved! This is what I intend to keep up in some degree with Couchsurfing:)

PHILOSOPHY

Try to embrace as much aspects of life as possible. Travel, explore, learn and share!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since we are new to this we hope to be meeting or hosting other Couchsurfers. We have a nice couch and some spare matrasses. The couch has been tested and approved for sleeping;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some couchsurfing experience, but many friends from different countries have stayed on my couch until now. Been doing it also whenever possible, always had great experiences!

Interests

travelling, biking, spicy food, science fiction

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: List is quite large since i'm kind of a movie freak. I'm quite fond of science-fiction and yes, zombie movies;)

Music: I like almost every genre. Come to think of it music must make me feel either uplifted or sentimental or truly relaxed, never bored. Includes '70's 80's, Bowie, The Doors but also some trance when i'm in the mood:)

Books: travel-stories (lately polar expedition genre); Science fiction and autobiografies of legendary (sport) figures

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biked from Leuven to Torino and to Budapest crossing the alps.
Climbed the Etna volcano unplanned and unprepared on sandals; means being stuck near the summit and spending the night under the brightest of stars;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm quite bad with numbers, so this makes me good with languages I guess(or hope);) Always up to teach someone some bits of the languages I know.
I want to learn Thai
