About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seize each and every day.

ABOUT ME

From the moment I went abroad for the very first time in my life (Legoland in Denmark with my parents), I knew the travelling life was it for me. Many years (and trips) later, my love for it has only grown. I'm also a certified teacher and love combining my passion for it with the other love in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Il mondo è lì, basta prenderlo - A. Baricco.
Male comrads before women who sell their body for money. - Dr. Sheldon Cooper
It's only hybris if I fail - G.I. Caesar, Rome
A good idea is a good idea forever - David Brent

* Since I'm travelling in Asia at the moment, unfortunately I'm not able to host, sorry!*

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best way to meet new & interesting people and get the real local information about new places.

Interests

I love each and every aspect of travelling: meeting new people, exploring a new culture and thus broadening your mind. I also really enjoy cooking and like discovering new dishes (and ingredients). I can't live without sports (both watching and practising) and I'm quite addicted (but still in a healthy way) to tv-series and books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Extremely loud & incredibly close - J.S. Foer
Fever pitch - N. Hornby
Watchmen, V for Vendetta - A. Moore
Fight Club - C. Palahniuk
Arrivederci amore ciao - M. Carlotto

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Each and every day I spent in Italy is a day I treasure. It is my second home (lived there for 5 months) and I'm planning going back as much as possible.
That and swimming with baby dolphins in Hawaii as wel as teaching in Vietnam.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I said before, I love cooking and I consider myself a pretty darn good chef. If I stay over at your place I'll definitely treat you at least once (and if you don't suffer from food poisoning probably more) to a good meal and also to an even better (if possible) conversation!
And since I'm a teacher I can teach you some Dutch, English, Italian, French und ein klein bisschen Deutsch! (which is not Dutch but German, for you barbaric people)
