ABOUT ME

We are a couple who like to travel and meet new people. We really like music and have a lot of fun with dancing on it! Also we are in fond of sports, mostly 'extreme' sports like snowboarding, windsurfing, mountainbiking,...
We really like to meet other cultures, eat local food, wander around in the city's, explore the beautiful nature, ...

Karen is a social worker in an non- profit organisation with people in poverty and tries to fight against poverty and the systems that creates the poverty.

Jort works in an organisation from the city Antwerp and organise sports for the people in the neighbourghood

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

If we travel we love to meet local people so we can hear where the nice spots are and get to know them! We love to see the city through local eyes!

We started our couchsurfing experience in Morocco and really loved it. After that we can only ask ourselfes ' why wouldn't we couchsurf in a next travel?'

In our last appartment we hadn't that much space so we didn't have the opportunity to host people. Now we have our own little house and we would like to meet people on their travel in our own city and host people in our home! If you also like couchsurfing because of the real couchsurfing idea (meeting local people in a nice city) - than you're very welcome!! During the day we could give you some advices about where to go but in the evening we really hope we can eat and drink something together!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Travelling for 10 months in south east asia and south america - It's so nice to meet a lot of people, see beautiful things and feel the freedom of deciding what you want to do every day

Karen hitchhiked for 10 days through Germany together with a friend
