About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've lived with many people from different cultures, both as a host and as a guest. I think it's always an amazing chance for both parties to discover new ways to think and learn from each other.
Interests
I'm a full time psychology student, when it's currently not exam season I participate in theater class, play the guitar or simply enjoy any type of social activity. With some friends I have a collective that organizes raves.
Music, Movies, and Books
I think the beauty of music lies in the song and not it's genre, nevertheless I have sort of a weakness for reggae and indie rock. RHCP or Seeed are bands I love.
My, by far, favourite novel is "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss and I'm a big fan of "the Lord of the Rings" both the book and movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived in brasil for a whole year as an exchange student when I was younger. Merging into a vastly different culture was a hard, but rewarding task. There is a huge gap between thinking you know foreign manners and actually understanding them but once you overcome it, a whole new world opens up for you. I also cycled to the black sea and over the alps.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an average portuguese speaker, so if you're learning portuguese and want to practice your speech I'm all yours. I've been also playing some instruments.
