About Me

Pintor de caras y cuerpos. Me gusta la gente valiente.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to the couchsurfing app but I love to travel. A major part of the charm of a city is the people that inhabit it. There's perhaps no better way to really dig into a location than to connect with the locals.

Interests

Painting is my activity. It's what I do with almost all of my spare time. No rest for the obsessed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in the amazon rain forest of Peru with local mestizos who showed such care for "the project of Being" made me grateful to be part of this network of human souls that stretches far back into pre-history. The rushing river thrashed endlessly. Down on the rocks that abutted the tributary, close to the heat that its near-boiling water sweated from underwater volcanic activity upriver, the wind sometimes moved the steam in such a way that it completely enshrouded the night and swallowed my body and I could see nothing but soft whiteness around, above and below. The jungle and I seemingly dissolved into warm, white nothing.
