Overview
About Me
I’m a Chicago native who really enjoys meeting people from different places and sharing what makes this city special. I’d describe myself as social and outgoing, but I also value balance—I appreciate quiet time and a peaceful home environment. I’m into working out (always happy to have a gym buddy), love plants, and tend to have an adventurous side when it comes to trying new things, whether that’s food, neighborhoods, or experiences.
I live alone in a one-bedroom apartment and keep a calm, relaxed space. Hosting for me is about creating a comfortable, easygoing environment where people can recharge while also having the option to connect if it feels right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and exchanging perspectives. I like the idea of travel being more than just sightseeing—getting to know locals, sharing conversations, and having meaningful interactions is what makes it memorable.
As a host, I aim to offer a quiet, welcoming space for travelers who appreciate a low-key stay. I provide the basics (breakfast items, coffee/tea, clean linens) and a comfortable place to rest, and if our schedules line up, I’m always open to hanging out—whether that’s grabbing coffee, going for a walk, or just having a good conversation.
At the same time, I respect independence and personal space, so there’s no pressure to socialize. I just ask for clear communication, mutual respect, and a shared appreciation for a calm home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music-wise, I’m into a mix of bachata, R&B, hip hop, and reggaeton—pretty much anything with a good vibe or rhythm.
For movies, I usually go for horror or comedy depending on my mood, and I also enjoy a good documentary now and then.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving is definitely one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had—nothing compares to that feeling. Zip-lining through Tulum, Mexico, and Costa Rica comes in a close second. I’m always up for experiences that get the adrenaline going.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some bachata and a bit of Spanish, and I’m always down to learn new dance styles or even how to cook a great dish. I really enjoy that kind of cultural exchange.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing, and I always bring a positive, relaxed vibe. I also like to give back by sharing what I know—if you’re up for it, I can show you some local attractive spots outside of the downtown area that most visitors don’t usually find, to help you see a more authentic side of the city.
