My name is Jose, I'm 20 years old, I was born in Medellín, Colombia (beautiful country, we have a lot of problems like drugs but we are happy people) I finish school in 2014, I started to study psychology back in my city and since 6 months I have been living in Pennsylvania doing a volunteer job, hoping to start studying here Special Education the next semester.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people and being able to share new experiences with them. I like to build relationships and I think that you always can learn a lot from the people that surround you.

I also consider amazing the idea of being in a new city with people that actually lives there, so they can give you so much information and a new perspective about the hole city and the people who lives there.

I like Pop music, rock music (mostly classic), a little of house music, country music, merengue, bachata, alternative music (basically everything except heavy metal or classic music). I like different kind of artist like Coldplay, the smiths, red hot chili peppers, John Mayer, Taylor swift, Ed Sheeran, Elvis Presley, Eddie Vedder, The Kooks, The Strokes, The police, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bon Iver, Michel Bublé, etc...
I prefer romantic comedies movies or horror movies, I also like suspense, thrillers, drama and Christopher Nolan movies
I can read every genre but I don't like biographies, I enjoy horror books, adventure, drama-romantic and obviously all Harry Potter's books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I teach myself how to play piano and guitar and I'm not that bad... so I think that's pretty amazing. I can play all Ed Sheeran's songs in guitar and I also can eat a lot of pizza with beer.

I can teach basic Spanish (basically how to be friendly and ask for a beer), guitar, basic piano, play soccer and simple cooking skills (sandwiches and cereal).
I'm open to learn everything that I can, so be open.
