As an avid traveler who is cursed with incurable 'wanderlust', I would like to be part of this community that enables travellers to maximize their time abroad by fully immersing themselves culturally and socially and receiving tips about the 'best spots' from a local while saving money (more money = more travelling!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music, acoustic stuff (I play the guitar..), bossanova, jazz, blues etc. Mainly electronic these days though!

Film-wise I enjoy a good comedy, a weird but interesting foreign film, indie stuff, and creative film-making such as Richard Linklater's masterpieces.

I'm all about non-fiction books, and I always have one to read. Be it Psychology, Anthropology, Economics, Business, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always down to chat in different languages - I'm currently learning Brazilian Portuguese and I always look to practice my Spanish (it's advanced but practice never hurts). In exchange, I can help out with English, French...and Spanish.

It'd be cool to learn how to cook something - maybe a special dish from your country!

Lastly, I'm always down to jam. I play the guitar, and if you can sing, it's on.
