ABOUT ME

Hola!

I am a Social anthropologist, musician, ethnomusicologist, photographer and currently a PhD fellow (History of Latin America/Latin American Studies) at the University of Bergen.

PHILOSOPHY

I will describe this later, but basically I am atheist, but very respectful of other´s religious views, for a long time I have been interested in Buddhism, not as a religion, but as a philosophy (we have to talk about this distinction, probably someone would tell me), among other thinking traditions. I have a wide intellectual and artistic range of interest. I have a liberal, dialogic and left-minded, attitude in general, I guess.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am sorry for not filling out my CouchSurfing profile before. I was a bit busy at the time of signing in, and then, you know, I just postponed for a while. But now, I would like to retake this wonderful pad that allows us to share hospitality and generosity.

So, even if I have had not a fortune to host as many surfers as I wish via Couchsurfing, my experiences with my visitors are simply wonderful. Everyone has been an open window to their own countries, cultures, and biographies. I learned a lot from every single person that had visited me, and everyone has taken a place in my hart. Summer is running here in Bergen, and it is beautiful! So, welcome Couchsurfers!!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am always looking for new interesting things, fields, activities and social relationships that I have not yet known, but that I can learn from... I am a very curious guy, in fact.

I can teach some basic Spanish to my guest if they like (or practicing a bit in front of a cup of coffee :) If they are interested, I can talk about traditional music of Latin America, which is one of the things I enjoy the most, and they can have hands on some of the traditional instruments I have at home (we can jam a little, it would be great).
