About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a bolivian-born, american-raised international vagabond. I had moved to Lyon, France in September 2014... but I met my German girlfriend there, so I moved to Strasbourg in September 2015. I finished my bachelor's degree in June 2018, and I'm currently taking a year off to learn German, renovate a flat, and work a bit. I've left a piece of my heart in every amazing place I've been to, with the lovely people I've crossed paths with. . I'm happiest out in nature, enjoying a run, riding my bike, or hiking with my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is shit, then you die. Just joking. I don't have a particular philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been unable to host for all this time. I'm currently renovating my flat... nothing but bare floors, holes in the walls, and lots of dust that needs constant cleaning from the construction work!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed all over France and had nothing but amazing hosts.

Interests

I don't limit myself, so I like literally everything!

  • cooking
  • running
  • traveling
  • cycling
  • hiking
  • biology

Music, Movies, and Books

I love French films. Among my favorites are Cyrano de Bergerac, La folie des grandeurs, Les Misérables (Claude Lelouch, 1995), Le dîner des cons, Un baiser s'il vous plaît.
Others: Love in time of cholera, Como agua para chocolate, Burn after reading, In Bruges, The life of Pi, Forest Gump, and The curious case of Benjamin Button.

Music-wise, I like a bit of everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most memorable experiences involve traveling and some amazing people I met along the way. We can swap stories if we ever meet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic bicycle maintenance skills, the art of espresso making, or train you to be a decent runner!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I wouldn't call myself a good cook, but I think I make a good kitchen help!
A bottle of wine or bubbly
Coffee!
