About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To work, study and have a good time...everywhere!

ABOUT ME

I AM NOT HOSTING AT THIS TIME - I HAVE A LONG TERM GUEST IN MY APARTMENT.

I was born in Nicaragua and immigrated to the USA (Virginia suburbs of Washington DC) where I was raised. I went to university in southern Virginia (William and Mary) and southern California (UCLA). I was a software tester for 6 years and an auditor for 6 years. I finished a Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow and I still write in my spare time but I'm now studying cybersecurity and working as a researcher at a magazine. I love happy hours, sports, movies (all countries, all budgets), eating out and just about everything about CouchSurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I am still working on this. But I think the golden rule (I am not religious at all - agnostic) is a good standard. Also, never pay more than 9 dollars for a beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I'll take you for a drink(s?) or coffee or a meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Check out my former flatmate's profile (Guillermo Gomez in Miami, Florida). He introduced me to CS and we hosted several people while I was his flatmate in Coral Gables (city in Miami-Dade county). I think it's a great concept and I've only had good experiences with people. I think it takes a certain, excellent worldview to offer your home to travelers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood in the middle of a frozen lake in the dead of winter in upstate New York and it was so quiet that I could hear a fellow camper breathing 50 feet away from me.
