About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hablo Espanol y Portugues pero soy de Inglaterra, que es mi lengua principal! I've lived in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil over the last 2 years, working in community projects but also travelling and performing as a musician. I'm a huge collector of music and love to discover countries and culture via music.

ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say I'm empathetic, thoughtful and positive. Massive culture junkie for books, music and art. I play accordion & Clarinet in various bands that have toured across Central & South America. Really love Folk, Jazz, Ska, Blues. Basically any soulful music with a message. Always looking to connect on a personal level, be a part of communities, and contribute in some way. I've toured round many Autonomous Spaces, seeing communal living and non-hierarchical living in action. I've been a part of many spaces with larger scale communal living, so I think that's helped my sense of living with others.

Determined to experience things and discover the weird, the wonderful and the new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet amazing people involved in real projects and communities around the world.

Interests

Music is the fire, the passion. Live music is my love, people coming together and creating something spontaneous, folky, roots, raw. I play the accordion myself and i'm always trying to find people to jam with and create something new, unique and awesome.

I'll try and read as much as possible to keep my mind fresh and open up all the possibilities in this world and try to understand lives lead and places faraway.
