About Me

With a German father and a Greek mother, I have always been involved with very different cultures. In Germany I visited an international school, where I made friends from many different places in the world. I grew up visiting different places and meeting people from all around the world. This probably explains my love for travelling and experiencing different cultures. Being outdoors, no matter if it is walking through a city, hiking or doing sports, is what I am passionate about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are multiple reasons why I decided to register, but there is one that really stands out. When travelling, the things I value the most is meeting new people and learning about their culture. This is why I think Couchsurfing will be the perfect opportunity to get to see a country from a local perspective, rather than just as a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. In recent years, I have developed a passion for concerts. This has given me the opportunity to see couple of my favorite artists, such as The Weeknd, G-Eazy, J. Cole, Witt Lowry and many others. While I really enjoy Hip-Hop and RnB, I also listen to a whole variety of other music. During my time in Latin America, I really grew fond of Reggaeton. So, I am always open to get to know new types of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have visited the Olympics in Rio de Janerio in 2016

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught English to childern in Peru during my volunteer project in the Summer of 2017. It was an amazing experience and ironically teaching has taught me that I have much more to learn from other people, which have had more and different experiences than me. I think part of travelling is sharing great memories with people from all over the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am decent (and getting better) at cooking. Also, I enjoy having a conversation over a nice drink about every topic, from culture to something completely random.
