About Me

I'm a very slow nomad, I like capturing the soul of the places, looking to how people move, live and create spaces. I like being out in the street walking around, observing and taking pictures (you can take a look at my instagram @josefadm), talking to people and listen to their stories, that's mostly what inspire me.

I left my hometown in September 2019 in search of alternative ways of living, and mostly to find how I would like to live from now, through art and design as my main tools.

I used to travel as a ski instructor, which gave me a lot of learning, so now I'm trying to be open to new ways of traveling.

I really love any kind of art expression, such us dancing, making music, visual arts or performances, I like to experience all of them. Also I used to do aerial silks back home, haven't done that much here in Europe but I would love to share any kind of acrobatic activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I want to reconnect with belief that world isn't a bad place, so I think this kind of opportunities makes us trusting in others and connect in a different level.

Also, I believe in a different kind of economic system, and like that I like taking action about it. I think Couchsurfing contributes to balance the economic power on Earth, and also connects humans in a different level. Also I prefer to have rather a local experience instead of being disconnected in a hostel room.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's so much music that moves me, but I really enjoy balcanic music, I love bossanova, southamerican boleros, jazz, folk, indie, funk, disco, some psychedelic rock, maybe more but that comes to my mind now.

I love cinema as a way of artistic expression and also how it could be a very strong social tool. I love almost every kind of cinema, but mostly the ones that stimulates me in a aesthetic way bc I like so much photography, and sure it will come with a strong message.

Right now I'm reading Los detectives salvajes, of Roberto Bolaño.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in jungles, beaches, cities and mountains. Worked in fruit farms, ski centers (teaching skiing), in offices, and still looking for something that makes me feel passion.

Teach, Learn, Share

Music for sure, good stories and experiences, life philosophy. I think thoughts are the most valuable to exchange.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to cook for sharing!, I can also make your place cleaner, and we can definitely share some dancing or making music.
