About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as I possibly can. If there's nothing stopping me from doing something, I will do it.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23-year-old girl/woman/what ever you want to call me who just graduated from uni. I'm Christian, but raised in a secular family. Before deciding what I want to do with my life I want to do like some of my favourite authors, I want to travel and find inspiration. I see myself as a positive, harmonic and down to earth person, and I'm easily fascinated by other people's stories. Why don't you tell me yours?

PHILOSOPHY

Here I would like to qoute two of my favourite bands:
"There's more to living than being alive" - Anberlin
"I wanna thrive, not just survive" - Switchfoot
I try to live according to these lines cause I believe I will enjoy life to the fullest if I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, it might be tricky for me to accept visitors at some points since I still live at home and sometimes I'm out travelling myself. But get in touch and I'll see what I can do. If I'm not able to offer you a place to sleep, I'm willing to show you around and have a cup of coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience myself, but friends of mine have participated and they highly recommended me to do it. My family and I have had people living with us since both me and my younger brother have participated in exchanges during high school. We've had people from Germany, Spain and China come stay with us and I wish to extend that list.

Interests

Obviously travelling, music, sports in general and skiing in particular, reading,

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to a lot of different styles, but I'm especially fond of American rock. My favourite bands are Switchfoot and Anberlin.
Movies: Favourite movie is so hard to choose! What I don't like is scary movies where things pop up on the screen scaring the crap out of me. Though I am a bit of a nerd so there's no bad time for Star Wars or Harry Potter.
Books: My favourite author is definitely Jane Austen and I generally like the romantic period. When it comes to contemporary writing I like any good crime novel, but in the end it all depends on what mood I'm in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My year as an exchange student at the University of York was incredible. I lived in a dorm with 14 other students and 9 of us were international students from all over. Living together in harmony despite our backgrounds was amazing and it taught me a lot. Knowing that I could move and study abroad on my own made me realise that there is probably nothing that I can't do.
