Overview
About Me
Hello! I am Mexican, I am 24 years old and I am studying my last year at the University of Guanajuato in Salvatierra, where I study regional development (that's the main reason why I am not verified$$$). I love learning from other languages, cultures and especially the role that women play in them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know that the best way to get to know a city and its magical things is to do it with a person that shows you the place and the food, that's why I consider CS the perfect way to get there.
Interests
Palate open to all types of food. I put lemon on anything possible. I like a lot of tacos de tripitas, beer stout (beer in general, in fact hahaha), pizza, pasta, corn and potatoes prepared in any way.
I like the sunsets (I know, sounds silly), I enjoy partying but I can also stay at home and spend some time on Netflix (as long as there is food, of course haha) or go for a walk and I am currently interested in permaculture and agriculture, but I'm not an expert, I'm just getting into this.
Music, Movies, and Books
In music I have a wide taste, everything is nice to me from ska and reggae to regional Mexican music AKA La banda hahaha, in general I am open to any genre and style of music or literature.
I'm good at dancing cumbia. Can we consider that as a talent?
As a little girl I hated documentaries, but now I enjoy them too much.
Breaking bad, HIMYM, Black Mirror, BoJack, Pulp fiction, Marigold Hotel, Narcos, This is England, Trainspotting, Kids, The goodfather, Piña Express, Scarface and movies that have something to do with travel, I guess it's something common, right?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Best sunset at Hammersmith
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel that I am a person that likes to hear about the things that they are passionate about (even though I do not understand a lot sometimes, so I will ask too much) and that they teach me things I did not know (from plumbing to history or general culture), that's why i believe that every person with whom we come in contact, has something important to teach us.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I travel with some typical Mexican sweets (not all are spicy haha) and if you want I can accompany you to the supermarket for groceries (something I enjoy a lot) or go for a drink :)
Also we can play Mexican board games!
