I consider myself a "third culture kid," meaning I grew up in several different places. I was born in Taiwan. I was raised in China, Denmark, and The Netherlands. Through my "grown-up" years, I lived in England and United Arab Emirates (Dubai) as well. I came back to Denmark to study and now I work with University Startups in Copenhagen.

I'm living about 25km from Copenhagen in a small village but with brilliant train connections (see home section). There is also free street parking.

Please note that I am very busy so I might not have time to hang out especially on week days. Therefore it might be better suited for a pair of friends or a couple.

I started using it while I was backpacking for a year and I couchsurfed in every country and loved every bit of it. When I moved to Denmark, I decided to host in order to give back to the community.

Backpacked around the world on my own for a year!
Highlights from my trip:

Bangladesh: watching the Milky Way and sparkly jellyfish on a remote island (st. Martin) with no electricity.

Nepal: dancing with thousands of Nepali women dressed in red sari for 'Teej' festival in a temple. // Getting stuck in Bandipur for 5 days because of bus strikes and having amazing views of the Himalayas.

India: 6 hour motorbike ride in the mountains. // Watching the sunset over the Taj Mahal.

Egypt: snorkeling with amazing coral reef and fish in Sharm-el-Sheikh.

Singapore: watching the sunrise from a rooftop pool.

Indonesia: hiking mount Bromo and mount Ijen two nights in a row without any sleep in between. // Attending an Indonesian wedding in Jakarta.

Philippines: swimming with whale sharks in Oslob // attending sinulog festival in Cebu.

Cambodia: seeing Angkor Wat temples in Siem Reap // seeing illuminous plankton in Koh Rong // shiny fireflies on the river in Kampot.

Vietnam: buying a motorbike and driving through rural Vietnam.

Hawaii: hitchhiking around the islands // tubing in rivers with locals.

Mainland USA: buying a car and roadtripping 8000+ miles from Washingtin to Florida and then Tennessee.
