About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a way to live in Antarctica

ABOUT ME

I am an applied ecologist, keen cyclist and harmonica player. I love the outdoors, (very) long hikes and camping.

UPDATE (As from 2021): Currently travelling the East Coast of Australia with my pushbike. Due to the new CS policies, I am migrating to Warmshowers: https://www.warmshowers.org/user/211433

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always on the road and normally living in harsh conditions and not for too long in each place. Thus I use CS much more often to surf than to host people, but I still love to have people over anytime I have a proper place where to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES:
Copolla and Kubrick rocks!

MUSIC:
I play the harmonica. If you sing or play any other instrument, we could jam!

BOOKS:
Currently reading Cervante's "Don Quixote". I identify myself with his wonderlust...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been traveling a lot and the list of amazing things I've done is quite extensive, so I leave you with some of my deeds:
- Visited 33 countries;
- Lived in five continents;
- Have been above 4.000m (in Isla del Sol, Bolivia) and below -5m (Zuid Holland, The Netherlands);
- Crossed four borders in 12h (Poland-Germany-Czech Republic-Austria-Slovakia);
- Had lunch in Zagreb, dinner in Vienna and breakfast in Florence (and more recently breakie in Brussels, lunch in Eidhoven and dinner in Palermo);

Teach, Learn, Share

Two important things I learned by traveling around:

Always stop to listen to people, no matter who, they will always have something to teach you.

Language is not a barrier for communication, it depends only on the willness of people to understand each other.
