About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek, therefore, not to find out Who You Are, seek to determine Who You Want to Be!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Regina Saskatchewan Canada in a wonderful home with really wonderful parents. I have three awesome sisters, who are I am very close with. I love traveling and try to take a trip somewhere ever year. I am currently traveling in Central and South America. I love science and engineering, love learning how things work, how people live and how we are all so different yet so similar at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy of life, well that's always a tough one to put down in words but it goes something like this. I believe that we are truly all one being, experiencing ourselves as a individual so that we can choose to be anything we want. I don't really believe we ever really die, so much as change from one form to another. To create yourself a new each day in the highest sense of yourself I think is the reason for our consciousness. So in that belief I feel I am a spiritual being directly connected with the universal energy of life. Ya! - that kinda sums it up. I really need a good chat under a dark sky filled with stars to describe my philosophy better!

Love the outdoors and doing just about anything like hiking, canoeing, skiing, playing Frisbee in a park etc. is good fun. Love playing the piano, I've tried the guitar and have learned that piano is a much better use of my time!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love music - its just a wonderful way to change your mood when your feeling down. Love jazz, funk, classical, rock and pop sometimes. Love going to Jazz clubs a lot. I am pretty open to most kinds of music, except rap, punk and hip hop. As for books, I mostly read a lot of science fiction, but am up for just about any other type if the subject interests me.

Films are great, I used to work as a camera assistant in the film industry, I love watching movies, just about anything goes, documentaries are a favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran out of money well I was traveling around northern Laos years ago. I made the mistake of forgetting that I was 600 kilometers from a bank machine. I had about 15 dollars left and kinda started to panic. I went down to the docks and with the help of some locals I found a slow boat back to Thailand for my 15 bucks. For a week I lived on the boat with the local family that operated it, eating my meals with them, trying to communicate with them, playing with their kids. It was a amazing journey up the Mekong river. I didn't speak a word of English the whole time, and yet felt that I learned so much from them. Unforgettable experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wow - this is a great idea. Ok, so I know computers and stereos, wiring, setting up just about anything in the home with wires, and I really enjoy doing it. I used to work as a photographer and a camera assistant and know a lot about photography, and really enjoy teaching that.

I play the piano, though not as well as I would like and would love to learn more. Geez, I want to learn anything really. If there is a skill I don't have I am always up for learning more about it. Ya I think this is a great section. Its all about learning, teaching and sharing our gifts!!!
