About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a young Guatemalan, currently in Europe, studying with about 200 students of different nationalities in what I believe has been one of the most amazing experiences of my short life. The United World College of the Adriatic in Italy.
I'm a singer, I love music, and while I don't completely prefer a single genre, I prefer to sing towards the Folk, Jazz, Rock spectrum of sound.
I love movies (short, long, cult, pop, its the film, not the genre) and TV shows. I love surfing the Internet, reading articles of news, video games, music, sports. I love media in general, and the effect it has on people, which is why I plan on studying Modern Cultures and Media.
I love playing sports, volleyball in particular, and I'm a black belt in Kenpo Karate (never been on a single fight though).
I like reading, but its mostly a new habit so my library isn't the biggest one out there (which means I'm completely open to any suggestions).
Finally, I love eating. Food is probably the easiest way into my heart, and I'm willing to try any kind of food out there. I would love to Kitchen Surf as much as to Couch Surf.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat and Listen. There is no bad music or bad food, just different moods, times and feelings to appreciate them with. What one dislikes today has probably more to do with the circumstance than with the thing itself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Talking, telling stories and jokes, sharing food, music, and games. Wherever I end up going, I promises ill do my best to entertain and be worth the couch. I have a lot to tell, and a lot more to listen.

I look forward to have a couch to share eventually.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to Couch Surfing and have yet to be hosted by anyone, but the concept of the community nonetheless captivates me. Travelling through the world is one of the most satisfying experiences out there, and for those who have done it, are currently doing it or plan to do it in the future, the thought of other travellers living the same experiences has a sort of fraternal sense to it. The hardships of travel are shared with the joys of it, and a community like couch surfing makes this connections easier. I cant wait to be a stronger part in this brotherhood of travellers.

Interests

Music. Any, when the mood presents itself
Food. Any, anytime (specially if weird)
Media. It fascinates me how the world works through media, and how much life tends to be based on it.
Traveling. Guess thats why I joined couchsurfing :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having tea with a group of close friends to realize that one of them was Moldavian, one was a spaniard, one was indian, one was Italian, and I happen to be Guatemalan. When did life get so diverse?

Drinking home made sake out of a bottle with a cobra inside of it.

Fleet Foxes Live.

Those three come to mind right now, but having lived in Guatemala and having travelled through europe, there is no shortage of stories and things that have left me mouth wide open
