A big backpacking trip around the world, travelling on a very low budget, volunteering and learning as I go.
And trying to leave the world a better place than when I found it, just through one smile and random acts of kindness at a time...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been in CS for a while now (since 2009), but we (my sister, mom and I) have always used my sister's profile (CAT Meireles)... All her main hosting CS experiences are my own... So I've been hosting, traveling (and I'm a CouchSurfer at heart) for many years now... ;)
And after a decade of hosting and meeting inspirational and interesting people, it's time to go on my big adventure, doing what I love - meeting different diverse beautiful people and helping in the best way I can those in need or who ask for it.

All about Sports, Healthy Living, Outdoors, Diversity, Disability, Social Issues, Psychology, Sociology, Permaculture, Agriculture, Renewable Energies, Eco lifestyle, Meditation, Personal Development, Spirituality.... and Travels, The World, "Wanderlusting" in general... I'm interested in everything life has to offer. But I'm especially interested in You. :) What You wish to talk about, get off your chest and teach me. I want to learn and See your perspective. :)
I'm an explorer of the world and people and I love the Truth, Knowledge and I like to go deep into things, so you can expect interesting conversations with me or really just simple laid back ones. I especially appreciate learning from you, as I believe each encounter is meaningful and each person we meet has something to offer us and we to them...

(BEWARE!) I tend to be very open and treat you like you've always been my best friend ;)

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: (All of it...) Seriously, I'm very diverse in my interest in music. I have a vast taste in music.
Movies: (So many.... I'm a huge film addict..) Wes Anderson, Luc Besson, Iñarritu, Clint Eastwood, Sean Penn... Braveheart, The Last Samurai... Seven Pounds, Captain Fantastic!!.... :)
I also love good documentaries....
But seriously, name a movie you like, we might both have seen it ;)
Books: Mostly spirituality related or from the "Self-help" section ;P Herman Hesse, Paulo Coelho, Neale Donald Walsch, James Redfield, Dalai Lama books... Many adventure, comics, and teenage books when I was younger... I'm very interested in travel books, right now...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Took a whizz from the highest cape in Europe (Cabo Girão, Madeira), when I was 9... :-P
Jumped from a 13m rock cliff to the cold sea water in the Azores... :-D
Scuba dived in Praia, Cape Verde and seen a beautiful baby sea turtle...
Slept under the most beautiful and powerful starry sky in the Sahara desert, in Morocco...
Spend 5 months living and working in Incredible Iceland!!
Went crazy in love for life and people!! :P
To sum it up, the craziest, most amazing thing ever:
I was born!!! :D
