About Me
That's always difficult... I'd say I'm quite easy-going and tolerant, I love to see other people's point of view and discuss with them. I enjoy a good and interesting chat, specially if sharing good food and drinks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always loved travelling and discovering not only other places, monuments, impressive buildings; but also a different perspective, another way of looking to the world. It's only by travelling closer to people that you get to really see the how different and unique every place in this world is.
I feel Couchsurfing is special in the way that, not only helps you enjoy travelling more, and gets you closer to other ways of experiencing the world and life that one would never have imagined; but it also does that while being at home and hosting other people!
I started and got into Couchsurfing for the travelling, but I must admit I have found far more rewarding to host other couchsurfers and attend events. When you travel around you always try to plan (at least a bit) what to do, where to stay, how to get around... But when a couchsurfer is visiting you, you never know how it will turn out, it lets me see my own city with a different lens every time!
Interests
I am an aviation enthusiast, I've been fascinated by aeroplanes ever since I was a child. I like to read, watch, learn, listen to... Anything related to aviation. That had of course an effect in my career path and also eventually let me to become a private pilot (when I managed to find the money for it) - which basically means I fly light sport aircraft for fun!
I practice basketball and cycling, and enjoy watching Tour de France or any Basketball event, but in general I like to watch every sport (but I'm not a big fan of any big team).
I also love vintage cars and motorbikes, my father and I have an '81 Montesa, a trials bike that has always something to get repaired but that we love putting our hands on, and learning a ton of applied mechanics on the way...
I've always been a keen reader, and I love sharing books but most of all, getting myself lost inside second hand book fairs, I find it magical to be reading the pages that another person (or maybe more) may have read as well before, getting similar feelings and emotions... And I love trying to imagine the many lives these books may have had before - And also to keep them alive still!

Music, Movies, and Books
Even though I love books, it's really hard for me to pick a really good one, I like reading actually anything, from big classics to best sellers, and I always enjoy a good crime novel as a light read when travelling...
As for films I like those that you have to pay attention to catch the whole story. Though each one is a world. My top one would be Motorcycle Diaries, it just makes me want to go hit the road and discover the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy cooking very much, so I can always make you dinner after a tiring day at work (main Spanish specialities included!)! Or just help you or teach you some recipes if you are a keen cook too!
