About Me

Hi!

I'm from England but recently moved to Berlin to work as a sustainability consultant.

Before Berlin I studied in Italy and I was working in a startup in Zürich and before that I was studying chemistry in Edinburgh.. it's crazy how life goes sometimes..

I'm a very active person and enjoy a whole range of sports and activities. Favourites are boxing and yoga.

Although I'm no expert, I practice mindfulness whenever possible. Meditation has really helped me to be the person I am today and I'm sure it can help you too.

Of course I'm really into sustainability, innovation and science, but love a good discussion about anything really!
I'm also really into history, especially ancient civilisations. If you want to have a chat about ancient Rome please hmu ;D.

Oh and one last thing, I love to cook vegetarian food!

PHILOSOPHY

Humans are very interesting creatures and every one of them has a lot of experience where you do not. Learn from each other, communicate and most importantly, enjoy life.

By the way, here is the cheeky test to see if you have read my profile before requesting to stay... tell me who your favourite musician is at the moment when you make the request :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like being spontaneous so I am always happy to meet anyone around town for a tea, discussion, museum, meal... whatever!

I would also like to start hosting more. When I can I will do my best :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience when travelling around America in 2016. Everywhere I stayed in Colorado and California I was shocked at how trustful and welcoming my hosts were. I had a truly unique and genuine insight into the places that I stayed and the people that I met.

I'm really excited to make more friends and gain insight into the lives of other lovely humans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two weeks running a summer camp for children in Ukraine. Everyone was so lovely, friendly and welcoming. By welcoming I mean vodka was obligatory every time you entered someone's home. It was amazing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love making music. If you're a musician, let's jam! If I don't have a drum I'll probably have something I can make into a drum.
I'm also really into discussions about science, philosophy or any other interesting issue.

It doesn't all have to be doom and gloom, there's a lot to be happy and optimistic about in this world.
