I am a Fulbright Scholar teaching English in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium for the 2018-2019 academic year. I just graduated from Swarthmore College near Philadelphia with degrees in Classics and Linguistics.

I come from a Hispanic family that has lived in New Mexico (USA) for 13 generations, so I have an atypical experience living in America.

I love language, and am pretty decent at learning new ones. Im proficient in Spanish, French, Ancient Greek, and Latin.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ll be traveling a lot in Europe over the next year and would love to meet people while I do it! I love serious philosophical conversation but also love to joke around.

I also write short fiction as a hobby. I would love to find someone to exchange my work with!

Interests

I just love talking to people. I would love to meet new people that become friends and future pen pals.
