Im going on a cross country trip/tour in my Subaru Forester and I plan on funding the trip by street performing and finding odd jobs on the way. Ill be sleeping in the back of my car when I need to, staying with friends all over- and using this site as well. Im half scouting out places to possibly move to, so I think this will be a great way to get at least a little taste of places that might interest me.

Street performing, and performing for professional gigs is my passion. Unfortunately, the weather where I live is crappy for half of the year, and the population isnt very conducive for doing what I love most, and making decent money. Travelling around like this, performing, is a dream of mine- another thing to check off the bucket list.

Im educated, but my memory is shot... Between kickboxing, a colorful past and my age creeping up on me, its gotten pretty bad lol. Im mildly introverted, but if the conversation goes to certain topics, Im pretty animated. I enjoy intellectual conversations and I dont have a judgmental bone in my body. I enjoy differences in opinion but I find it disappointing when people either take it personal or get emotional about it. I find human nature fascinating.

I should mention that I am house broken, good with animals and Im a non smoker. I dont snore, and Im a fairly light sleeper. I dont do drugs, or drink- but certainly have no issue with people living their lives how they see fit, just as long as no one is doing anything thats going to get me into trouble. I did some hitchhiking in my 20's and had a few fairly tense experiences with some of the people who took me in, or were giving me rides. Not looking for any stress or drama.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people, and sleep on their couch. When I finally get situated where ever I end up, I wouldnt mind hosting as well. I used to live in Manhattan and used to put people up that I had met while travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitch hiked and rode trains cross country and back. Theres a lot more. Usually, Im doing something amazing, even if its something as simple as mouth breathing or eating a sandwich.
